Winter in Chongqing is always covered with fog, so there is basically no concept of twilight. Especially in the winter of 2020, the fog on the Yangtze River after low tide is as fuzzy and long as the fog that people breathe after the epidemic when they are forced to wear masks. At some point, walking along the river at dusk became an important daily activity for me, and when I walked on the mudflats after the low tide, the scenes that I had not paid attention to before became clearer and clearer. The riverside stalls that had to be wrapped in plastic because of the epidemic and the uncrowded riverside ferry hotels, etc. together formed the winter impression of the riverbank in 2020. But as the tide rose, I knew that the twilight of Chongqing was slowly approaching, because a new summer had come.
